City of Sonora issued the following announcement on Dec. 18.
Code Enforcement has located several illegal dump locations within the City of Sonora. Code Enforcement Officer Briggs Simms is working with properly owners on cleaning up debris left by violators. We are asking assistance from our community with stopping this illegal activity. Please report violators to the Sonora Police Department at (325) 387-3888 or City Hall (325) 387-2558. Photographs of violators can be emailed to Officer Briggs Simms at briggs.simms@sonora-texas.com or via text message at (325) 226-2361.
Please reach out to Officer Simms if you are having issues with disposing your unwanted debris. Simms is ready to provide you with options as how to properly dispose your trash.
