There were seven multiracial students enrolled in Veribest ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 40% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Veribest ISD schools welcomed 258 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, multiracial students comprised 2.7% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.

Veribest ISD roughly covers schools within Tom Green County and has a main office in Veribest.

Among the three schools in Veribest ISD schools, Veribest High School recorded the highest enrollment of multiracial students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of four students.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
