Laynee Crooks, former Central High School softball player will compete with her collegiate team for the NCAA D2 Softball Championship

Angelo State Rams Coach Travis Scott (2024) | Angelo State Rams

Former Central High School player and current Angelo State Rams catcher and outfielder, Laynee Crooks, will compete in the NCAA D2 Softball Championship Tournament.

They begin the tournament as a number four seed against the fifth seeded Oklahoma Christian Lady Eagles.

The first game is on Thursday, May 9.
