Tom Green County is seeking public input on whether to submit an application to the Texas General Land Office for a Texas Community Development Block Grant Program Mitigation Grant.
The county is seeking input regarding the development of local housing and community development needs, the amount of grant funding available, and all eligible activities, according to the county. Proposed projects for which the funding is sought include repairs to the Christoval Dam and spillway; building a 300-foot Mineral Wells Bridge over the South Concho River to replace the existing low-water crossing; improvements to the county’s Fresh Water Supply District No. 2; and elevating low-water crossings around the county.
Those wishing to offer input can do so by submitting views and proposals to County Judge Steve Floyd at the County Administration Building.
