On Saturday, April 5, former Water Valley High School standout Colby Lafayette’s current college team, the Delta State Statesmen, lost 11-7 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Montevallo Falcons.

The game took place at Kermit A. Johnson Field at Bob Riesener Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Falcons this season.
