On Saturday, April 5, former San Angelo Central High School standout Jon-Marc Torrez’s current college team, the Monmouth Fighting Scots, lost 19-6 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Grinnell Pioneers.

The game took place at Pioneer Park. This was their second matchup against the Pioneers this season.

The Fighting Scots’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 6 at 12 p.m. at Pioneer Park against Grinnell Pioneers.
